Minimum Standards

The production of hydrogen gas is a simple well known process.

Many system are currently inadequate in their design, materials and controls to manage the production, supply, durability and safety aspects of a commercial proper application.

The following has been established as a baseline to assess system capabilities and performance characteristics with the view of establishing minimum standards for the industry moving forward.

The Cell

System Fluid

Gas Production Efficiency of 60 litres: Fluid flow within the Cell during operation:
  • For less that (200 W-h)
  • Equalised fluid flow within cell for stable operation
Gas Production Quantity to 360 litres: Fluid levels within the system:
  • For less than (1.2kW-h)
  • Monitored and maintained optimum continuous operation
Gas Production Quality: External Water Storage Level Management:
  • Energised catalytic gas with correct magnet properties
  • Minimum continuous operation of 24 hours

Pressure

Temperature and Ph

High Pressure Tolerance Capabilities:

Temperature, pressure and pH tolerance:

  • Up to 50 PSI continuous operation
  • Appropriate materials selection
Hysteresis – Rise and Full Pressure Management: Management of Water Conductivity:
  • Field adjustable rise and fall pressure limits
  • Monitoring and adjustment of supply
Regulated Gas Supply: Temperature Management:
  • Service adjustable output pressure to 30 PSI
  • Maintain under 70 deg. C

Gas Drying and Arresting

Maintenance and Servicing

Cleaning and removing electrolyte form gas stream: Product Life Cycle:
  • Return of electrolyte collected to cell
  • 4000 hours
Drying of Gas Stream by removing excess moisture: Maintenance Cycle of 1000 hours:
  • Return of moisture collected to cell
  • User inspection and notifications
Propagation prevention in the event of “flash-back”: Serviceable and interchangeable components:
  • No user maintenance requirements.
  • Assembly and re-assembly

Electrical

System Logic

Electrical Scalability: Function Dependencies and Timing:
  • 12V / 24V /120V / 240V Options
  • O2 Sensing and Flow Regulation, Engine timing management
In Situ Electrical Production Testing and Sensing Responses:
  • Efficient retrofit option to existing vehicles
  • Fluid Level (internal and External), Pressure and Soft start
Current Management: User Interface:
  • Controls to prevent system current runaway
  • Operating status, Normal, Error, Maintenance

HOH Gas Generator

hydroxy01 The HOH (Hydrogen - Oxygen - Hydrogen) Gas Generator is both a technology evolution and a commercial revolution.

It is an evolution in the sense that it is a technology that has been known for over 100 years, but only with the development of modern engineering and materials has the technology become practically viable.

As a commercial revolution it is made available to you under Open Source Licensing, reducing cost and improving value across the entire supply chain. Through the use of Open Source Licensing, commercial licensing fees are considerably reduced, allowing greater opportunity with reduced risk levels.

Technology in Brief:

The HOH Gas Generator produces Hydrogen - Oxygen - Hydrogen (HOH) gas on-demand and at the point  use, using only water. As water provides the storage medium for the Hydrogen and Oxygen gas, only small volumes of water storage is required. Water as the storage medium produces 2000 times its volume in gas, (1 litre of water produces, 2000 litres of gas). The systems are designed to produce from 60  to 900 litres per hour (LPH), and can be “daisy chained” to multiply these volumes, which it only limited by the available power sources.

Each system can safety draw up to 30 AMPS and operate in increments or 12VDC up to 120VDC. The systems can be connected in “Sereis” to operate at 24VDC (120LPH) or 240VDC (1800LPH), doubling the gas volumes.

The systems are highly efficient, producing 1 litre of gas at 180Watts per minute.

The HOH Gas Generator product development has been underway for over 4 years now and is in the final stages of the Indsutrial Design Phase.

The system has been designed with flexibility in mind allowing it to scale in gas production rates to meet the needs of many applications.

  • Petrol and Diesel Fuel Suppliementations (Passenger Vehicles to Heavy Industrial)
  • Welding, smelting and waste treatment applications
  • Heating and cooling applications.

As the technology has now begun to mature, there are considerable resources available under “Open Source License” to the public within the HOH Collaboration Portal , these include:

  • Details CAD Drawings
  • 3D Production Designs
  • Bill and Materials
  • Electronic Circuits and Controls
  • System Firmware
  • System Schematics

HOH Gas Generation - Industrial Design

Description:

The HOH Gas Generation System is in its third major phase, having moved through Research and Experimental trials.

The system here reflects a comprehensive understanding of the design and production aspects within an Integrated Gas Generation System.

Although the system is currently being designed for automotive use, many other application opportunities exist, which will form new search projects in the future.

This scope has taken into account a flexible system design, with scalability (large and small), mounting flexibility options and ease of user interface.
